Canadian Solar Nets Panel Supply Deal With Three Gorges

Law360, New York (November 1, 2013, 3:19 PM EDT) -- Canadian Solar Inc. on Friday said it has inked a deal with state-backed China Three Gorges New Energy Co. Ltd. to provide 100 megawatts worth of photovoltaic modules for a solar power project in the Gansu Province of China.

The Ontario-based solar module and power system manufacturer said it will supply its high efficiency 60-cell 250-watt and 255-watt solar panels for the project. Canadian Solar claims its 250-watt-peak and 255-watt-peak CS6P-P brand modules outperform competing 60-polycrystalline-cell module brands, producing more than 6 percent more power annually....
