Toshiba Tablets Violate Memory Patent, Suit Says

Law360, New York (November 5, 2013, 3:30 PM EST) -- Four types of Toshiba Corp.'s Excite tablets contain a processor that violates a memory-traffic patent owned by Memory Integrity LLC, according to a complaint filed in Delaware federal court Friday.

Wilmington, Del.-based Memory Integrity says Toshiba's importation and sale of the Toshiba Excite 10 SE Tablet, Toshiba Excite Pure Tablet, Toshiba Excite Pro Tablet, and Toshiba Excite Write Tablet violate a patent that, according to court documents, is intended to cut down on the volume of responses from a memory controller.
