ACA Website's Technical Flaws Reduced, Medicare Chief Says

Law360, New York (November 5, 2013, 4:02 PM EST) -- Medicare chief Marilyn Tavenner told a U.S. Senate panel Tuesday that technical flaws plaguing the Affordable Care Act's health insurance website have been sharply reduced, assuring that many Americans are finding coverage.

Appearing between the Senate's Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, Tavenner, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, noted that the Obama administration has set a Nov. 30 deadline for debugging, while cautioning lawmakers against thinking that shoppers will be in a holding pattern until that time.
