Canadian Rare Earth Mine Gets Green Light From Gov’t

Law360, New York (November 5, 2013, 7:50 PM EST) -- Canada-based Avalon Rare Metals Inc. gained federal approval to move forward with the construction of an underground rare earth mineral mine at a deposit in the Northwest Territories, the most advanced potential new source of such metals outside of China, the company announced Tuesday.
