$2M Fee Request Is Next Battle In Voting Rights Dispute

Law360, Dallas (November 5, 2013, 9:58 PM EST) -- A D.C. federal judge bifurcated on Tuesday the question of whether the attorneys for Shelby County, Ala., in its successful bid to invalidate a portion of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 are entitled to recover any fees in the case, and the question of how much the fees should be.
