Coburn, Hatch Say ACA Tax Credits Have Big Fraud Risks

Tom Coburn, R-Okla., and Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, on Tuesday pressed the Internal Revenue Service on its ability to manage $796 billion in complex tax credits under the Affordable Care Act after an IRS watchdog found the agency mishandled up to 25 percent of all Earned Income Tax Credit payments in 2012.
