Autodesk To Pay $277M For UK Software Co. Delcam

Law360, New York (November 7, 2013, 3:15 PM EST) -- 3-D design software maker Autodesk Inc. on Thursday said it has agreed to acquire British manufacturing software company Delcam PLC for £172.5 million ($277 million) in a cash deal for all outstanding Delcam shares.

“Today we are taking an important step on our path toward delivering a better manufacturing experience,” Autodesk president and CEO Carl Bass said in a statement. “Together Autodesk and Delcam will help further the development and implementation of technology for digital manufacturing.”
