Senate Bill Would Ban Abortions At 20 Weeks

Law360, Los Angeles (November 7, 2013, 8:14 PM EST) -- Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., introduced legislation Thursday that would prohibit abortions performed during or after the 20th week of pregnancy except in cases involving incest, rape or danger to the mother's life.

The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act has 33 Republican cosponsors in the Senate, according to Graham's office. A companion bill passed the U.S. House of Representatives by a 228-196 vote in June.
