Landfill Owner Wants High Court's Take On CERCLA Liability

Law360, New York (November 8, 2013, 6:39 PM EST) -- The owners of a company that once ran an Indiana landfill have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the Seventh Circuit's finding that despite the company's settlement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, it can still be sued under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act for cleanup costs.
