Clinic's Contract Terms Look Like Kickbacks, Watchdog Says

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 3:54 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' inspector general on Tuesday warned an anesthesia provider against completing a proposed contract with a psychiatry practice, saying it may constitute kickbacks and result in penalties.

The HHS' advice was sought by the unnamed anesthesia provider in regard to a contract it is negotiating with a psychiatry practice located at a hospital.
