Emissions Rule Eases Up On Electronics Makers, EPA Says

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 8:08 PM EST) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Tuesday issued a final rule it says will lighten the regulatory load on electronics manufacturers by changing the way they are allowed to calculate, monitor and report greenhouse gas emissions.

The new rule updates the agency's policy to better account for current industry practice and provides additional flexibility for manufacturers by creating newly eligible calculation methods, according to the EPA.
