WikiLeaks Releases TPP Draft's IP Section

Law360, New York (November 13, 2013, 7:12 PM EST) -- WikiLeaks on Wednesday released what it says is a draft of the Trans-Pacific Partnership's intellectual property chapter, with the anti-secrecy organization's founder, Julian Assange, calling the proposed provisions an attack on free speech and individual rights.

WikiLeaks posted on its website a 95-page document that, the group said, constitutes the draft text of the TPP's intellectual property section, complete with annotations that indicate the TPP countries' negotiating stances on certain portions.
