Seroquel Plaintiffs Win Bid To Quiz Doctors

Law360, New York (March 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Plaintiffs in multidistrict litigation over AstraZeneca LP's blockbuster drug Seroquel have been given a green light to question doctors who conducted clinical trials and wrote scientific papers in support of the anti-psychotic drug.

Judge David Baker of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida approved the plaintiffs' request in an order Monday, granting them leave to depose the so-called key opinion leaders and conduct written-question depositions of custodians of records kept by the seven physicians.
