Nev. Owes Interest On $1.8M Tax Refund, State Justices Say

Law360, New York (November 20, 2013, 3:25 PM EST) -- In a recent decision affirming that a cabinet maker is entitled to interest payments on a $1.8 million tax refund, the Nevada Supreme Court held that state tax regulators must first determine whether the overpayment was made intentionally or carelessly before it's able to reject interest claims.
