Pfizer Quits Bickering Over Mirapex Bellwether Trials

Law360, New York (March 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- After many months of wrangling over the bellwether trial process, the two sides in the multidistrict litigation over Pfizer Inc.'s Mirapex have agreed on the first three cases to go before a jury.

In a Tuesday letter to Judge James Rosenbaum of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, attorneys for the drugmaker said the parties had also agreed on the order of the three trials over the restless leg drug, with the first to begin on July 14.
