As Chief TPP Negotiators Finish Talks, USTR Touts Progress

Law360, New York (November 25, 2013, 5:35 PM EST) -- Chief trade negotiators for the Trans-Pacific Partnership countries have narrowed their differences in areas such as intellectual property, government procurement and financial services, the U.S. Trade Representative's Office said on Sunday.

Following six days of “intensive” meetings in Salt Lake City, Utah, the chief negotiators for the 12 countries currently involved in the TPP discussions resolved “a substantial number of outstanding issues across the talks,” the USTR's office said in a statement released Sunday.
