Ex-Brocade Exec Faces Up To A Year In Prison

Law360, New York (March 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Stephanie Jensen, the former human resources chief of Brocade Communications Systems Inc., will face six to 12 months in prison for her alleged role in a stock options backdating scandal, in part thanks to a false pretrial declaration submitted by Brocade's former CEO.

On Tuesday, Judge Charles Breyer set guidelines for sentencing Jensen, who was convicted in December of falsifying offer letters and other documents in order to lock in lower stock options grant prices, but did not deliver a final sentence, which will be decided...
