Highmark Calls UPMC Settlement Promises 'Meaningless'

Law360, New York (November 25, 2013, 8:39 PM EST) -- Highmark Inc. on Friday again asked a Pennsylvania federal judge to force the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center to sign a tentative settlement they had reached to end an antitrust suit over Highmark's acquisition of a hospital system, saying the court should not allow UPMC to get out of a deal it had already agreed to.
