Pa. State Rep.'s Aide Gets 18 Mos. In Traffic-Judge Fraud Plot

Law360, San Francisco (November 25, 2013, 8:42 PM EST) -- The administrative aide to a Pennsylvania state representative was sentenced to 18 months in prison Monday for her role in a scheme with an elected Traffic Court judge to funnel hundreds of thousands of dollars in state grants earmarked for charity to their friends and associates.

Lorraine Dispaldo, once an aide to state Rep. William Keller, D-Philadelphia, was sentenced on 36 counts of mail and wire fraud, conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, falsifying income-tax returns and bankruptcy fraud, the U.S. Attorney's Office said Monday....
