Fla. Law Firm Pays $1M To End Nadel Receiver's Suit

Law360, New York (November 26, 2013, 6:40 PM EST) -- Sarasota, Fla., law firm Band Weintraub PL will pay nearly $1 million to settle allegations that it helped others evade a settlement with the receiver unraveling hedge fund manager Arthur Nadel's $168 million Ponzi scheme, according to a settlement approved Tuesday by a Florida federal judge.
