EU Puts Provisional Dumping Duties On Chinese Solar Glass

Law360, New York (November 27, 2013, 4:54 PM EST) -- The European Union said Wednesday it would impose provisional duties on Chinese solar glass after finding the imports had been sold into the European market at unfairly low prices, causing harm to EU producers.

Announcing the initial results of an anti-dumping investigation, the European Commission said in Wednesday's EU Official Journal that it had found evidence that Chinese producers were selling solar glass — a component of solar panels — in Europe at less-than-fair value and that the dumping resulted in damage to the EU industry....
