Indonesia Brings WTO Case Over Pakistan Paper Duty Probes

Law360, New York (November 27, 2013, 2:00 PM EST) -- Indonesia has lodged a dispute at the World Trade Organization challenging Pakistan's anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations on certain paper products, the WTO said Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Indonesia lodged a request with the WTO Secretariat for formal consultations with Pakistan over a pair of duty investigations on Indonesian writing and printing paper, the WTO said in a notice posted on its website. The consultation request represents the first step under the WTO's dispute settlement process.
