FTC Says Authority Extends To LabMD's Health Data

Law360, New York (November 27, 2013, 6:30 PM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission fired back Wednesday at LabMD Inc.'s contention that federal health privacy law trumps the agency's data security claims, arguing that it has a broad mandate to protect personal information that complements health regulators' similar authority.
