Chinese Co.'s Christmas Light IP Suit Booted Over Discovery

Law360, Los Angeles (December 2, 2013, 4:09 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Monday granted Fiber Optic Designs Inc.’s motion to sanction Bortex Industry Co. Ltd. for its “flagrant” violations of the discovery process, striking Bortex's claims and entering judgment for FOD in a patent dispute over ornamental light-emitting diode Christmas lights.
