Pa. Court Clerk Urges Justices To Ax Gay Marriage Ban

Law360, Philadelphia (December 2, 2013, 5:26 PM EST) -- A suburban Philadelphia court clerk told the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Monday that a September decision ordering him to stop issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples in defiance of state law would require him to violate his oath of office to uphold the U.S. Constitution.
