Dewey & LeBoeuf Hits 5 More Partners With Clawback Suits

Law360, Los Angeles (December 2, 2013, 9:46 PM EST) -- Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP’s trustee hit five former equity partners with adversary complaints for nearly $5.5 million in New York bankruptcy court Monday, claiming the partners had continued to receive bonuses and other distributions after the firm’s insolvency based on profits that never materialized.

Dewey’s liquidating trustee Alan M. Jacobs alleges that in not paying back the distributions Dewey made to them while the firm was insolvent, partners Lawrence A. Larose, Mark S. Radke, Anthony W. Shaw, L. Londell McMillan and Glynna Christian breached their partnership...
