Isolux Corsan Inks $105M Kuwait Transmission Line Contract

Law360, New York (December 3, 2013, 3:51 PM EST) -- Isolux Corsan has clinched a $105 million contract with Iraq’s Ministry of Water and Electricity to engineer and build 172 kilometers of transmission lines in Kuwait, marking the global transmission company’s first project in the Middle Eastern country, it said Tuesday.

The 300-kilovolt transmission lines and corresponding substations will bolster the energy infrastructure in the town of Al-Rawdatain, providing more people and businesses with access to electricity generated by the Subiya Power Plant in the northeastern region of Kuwait, the company said.
