Flashlight App Settles FTC Suit Over Sharing User Info

Law360, Los Angeles (December 5, 2013, 3:28 PM EST) -- The makers of one of the most popular Android apps, which allows its users to operate their devices as flashlights, agreed Thursday to settle charges that it shared private user information without their knowledge, including their exact location, with advertisers, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission said.
