Firm Wins $3.3M Fee In Motorola Environmental Suit

Law360, New York (March 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Law firm Brown & Bain PA will get additional payments for its work in a Motorola Inc. environmental contamination suit it withdrew from almost a decade ago, after an appeals court ruled that the main plaintiffs lawyer still owed it $3.3 million.

Brown & Bain convinced the appeals court judge on Thursday that the main lawyer for the plaintiffs needed to pay back additional payments, even though the firm had withdrawn from the case before Motorola decided to settle.
