Ch. 11 Reform Panel To Consider Secured Lender Rights

Law360, New York (December 9, 2013, 4:46 PM EST) -- The heads of an American Bankruptcy Institute commission said Monday that they hope to present a report with recommendations to reform Chapter 11 by this time next year, saying secured lender rights is one of the topics they will likely address.

Co-chairs of the ABI Commission to Study the Reform of Chapter 11 Robert J. Keach of Bernstein Shur Sawyer & Nelson PA and Al Togut of Togut Segal & Segal LLP said in a conference call with reporters that they have made no decisions yet...
