GM, UAW Get Green Light For Retiree Benefit Deal

Law360, New York (March 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The United Auto Workers and General Motors Corp. have won preliminary approval of a settlement in the UAW's class action, which challenged GM's right to change retirees' health care benefits when an earlier settlement between the union and the automaker expires.
