Top And Bottom 20% Of Earners See Tax Hikes In 2013

Law360, New York (December 10, 2013, 7:00 PM EST) -- The expiration of three tax relief laws and the imposition of the Affordable Care Act's tax hike means the upper and lower quintiles of U.S. earners saw a 4.2 percent and 1.6 percent bump in respective 2013 tax liability, according to a Congressional Budget Office study released Wednesday.
