Hogan Lovells Taps DC Litigator As Its Next CEO

Law360, New York (December 11, 2013, 7:28 PM EST) -- With Hogan Lovells leaders saying much of the "hard work" of an international integration is now behind them, the firm is set to move away from co-leadership and ratify a lone chief executive, the firm announced Wednesday.

A partnership ratification period to name Washington-based litigation partner Stephen Immelt as CEO opened Dec. 6 and will close Monday.

If the board's choice is approved as expected, Immelt will take the CEO helm on July 1. It will be the first time the firm has had a single leader since it was formed...
