Chevron, Poland Partner For Shale Gas Exploration

Law360, New York (December 12, 2013, 4:34 PM EST) -- Chevron Corp. and state-owned Polish oil and gas company PGNiG SA on Thursday inked a memorandum of understanding to jointly explore shale gas development in the southeastern part of the Eastern European nation.

The agreement is an outgrowth of PGNiG’s new eagerness to partner with private companies interested in Polish shale deposits, the company said in a statement Thursday.
