EU Court Revokes Commission's GMO Potato Approval

Law360, New York (December 13, 2013, 2:42 PM EST) -- A European Union court on Monday invalidated a decision from the bloc's executive branch that cleared the way for cultivation of a genetically modified potato developed by BASF SE, saying that member states fearing environmental damage and health risks were cut out of the authorization process.
