Sierra Club Sues EPA To Block New Ky. Selenium Standard

Law360, New York (December 13, 2013, 8:48 PM EST) -- The Sierra Club and three Appalachian nonprofits sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Kentucky federal court Friday, seeking to overturn the agency’s approval of Kentucky’s new water quality standards for pollutant selenium, a coal-mining byproduct.
