Wis. Gov. Argues 7th Circ. Has Already Affirmed Disputed Law

Law360, New York (December 16, 2013, 8:06 PM EST) -- Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker urged the Seventh Circuit on Friday to reject a union challenge to a controversial state law that gutted government workers’ collective bargaining rights, saying the appeals court had already affirmed the statute's constitutionality in a separate case.

The Wisconsin attorney general lodged a brief on behalf of Gov. Walker and three state labor officials, who were targeted by Laborers Local 236 and American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 60 in one of several lawsuits looking to topple Act 10.   ...
