Calif. Tops 'Judicial Hellhole' List Again In 2013

Law360, Washington (December 17, 2013, 6:54 PM EST) -- California's civil courts took the top spot for the second consecutive year on the American Tort Reform Association's controversial “Judicial Hellholes” list that included New York, Florida and Illinois courts on Tuesday, as the association claimed California courts are dominated by plaintiff-friendly consumer protection laws.
