US Unveils Auction For Md. Offshore Wind Leases

Law360, New York (December 17, 2013, 1:59 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior on Tuesday said it plans to auction 80,000 acres off Maryland's shores for commercial wind energy leasing as part of the Obama administration’s continuing efforts to entice developers to plant turbines in federal waters off the Atlantic coast.
