FERC Won't Shrink Amid Partisan Scrutiny, Ex-Chair Says

Law360, New York (December 20, 2013, 4:58 PM EST) -- Former Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman Jon Wellinghoff bemoaned the polarized political climate in Washington that helped torpedo the nomination of his proposed replacement, ex-Colorado utility regulator Ron Binz, but told Law360 that it shouldn't distract the commission from its primary goal: maintaining efficient and robust markets that provide energy to consumers at reasonable prices.
