Burt Staples & Maner Partner To Head IRS E-Committee

Law360, New York (December 17, 2013, 6:04 PM EST) -- The Internal Revenue Service on Tuesday announced that Burt Staples & Maner LLP partner Cyrus Daftary has been selected to serve as the new chairman of the Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee, which advises Congress on the agency's Internet-related tax services and other tech issues.

Daftary, who also serves as the executive director of Compliance Technologies International LLP, has advised multinational corporations and financial institutions on IRS compliance issues and specializes in e-commerce issues.
