Rambus May Use Testimony From Other Cases

Law360, New York (March 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rambus Inc. will be allowed to present testimony from third-party witnesses in related cases during a trial to defend itself against allegations that it improperly amended and aggressively enforced its dynamic random access memory chip patents, a judge ruled Monday.

Rambus, which is currently presenting its defense in the trial, had asked District Judge Ronald Whyte for permission to play or read testimony from separate cases involving the DRAM patent after its first witness testified. Rambus is currently involved in 11 cases over the DRAM patent...
