Fla. Legislators Admit To Destroying Some Redistricting Docs

Law360, Miami (December 19, 2013, 5:50 PM EST) -- Florida legislators have admitted that some records documenting the redistricting process have been destroyed, according to documents filed Wednesday in a suit claiming the new districts violate the state's constitution by favoring Republicans.

In answers to interrogatories served Dec. 9 but filed in court on Wednesday, leaders from the state House of Representatives and Senate said that some of the records of their research have been destroyed as part of routine record maintenance.
