Canadian Ice-Maker Subpoenaed In Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (March 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Canadian ice-maker Arctic Glacier has been subpoenaed in a U.S. Department of Justice probe into possible anti-competitive practices in the packaged ice industry, the company confirmed Sunday.

Keith McMahon, president and chief executive officer, said in a statement that authorities had asked the firm to supply any documents and information located outside the United States that may assist in the investigation.
