Warner Chilcott Sues Torrent To Block Generic Enablex

Law360, Washington (December 19, 2013, 3:25 PM EST) -- Warner Chilcott Co. LLC hit Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. with a patent infringement suit in Delaware federal court on Wednesday, alleging the India-based generic-drug maker's bid to market a generic version of the overactive bladder treatment Enablex violates one of its patents.

Torrent informed Warner in October that it had filed an abbreviated new drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as it sought to market a generic version of the extended release darifenacin hydrobromide tablets.
