EPA Exempts Some CO2 Storage From Hazardous Waste Regs

Law360, New York (December 20, 2013, 2:24 PM EST) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued a final rule on carbon capture and sequestration technology Thursday that states its hazardous waste regulations will not apply to carbon dioxide taken from some emissions sources and injected properly into certain approved underground wells.
