La.'s Attys To Cut Fees In Multibillion-Dollar Oil Industry Row

Law360, New York (December 20, 2013, 4:14 PM EST) -- Attorneys representing a Louisiana flood authority that's pursuing a multibillion-dollar lawsuit blaming the oil and gas industry for coastal land loss agreed Thursday to limit the fees they will charge the state for their work on the litigation.

Jones Swanson Huddell & Garrison LLC partner Gladstone N. Jones III told the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East that he and his firm would waive the firm's rights in certain provisions of a controversial contract, according to SLFPAE general counsel Bob Lacour.
