7th Circ. OKs Injunction On Wis. Abortion Law

Law360, Los Angeles (December 20, 2013, 7:33 PM EST) -- The Seventh Circuit on Friday upheld an injunction blocking a Wisconsin law requiring abortion providers to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital, finding that abortion clinics would face greater harm if the statute went into effect than the state would if the injunction remains in place. 

The law, known as Act 37, has been criticized by abortion rights supporters as a ploy to limit women's access to abortions. In July, Planned Parenthood and Milwaukee Women's Medical Services — the only entities that operate abortion clinics...
