Ex-Flaster/Greenberg Atty's Wrongful Firing Suit Survives

Law360, New York (January 3, 2014, 2:35 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge has agreed to allow an ex-Flaster/Greenberg PC associate to continue pursuing claims that she was fired without cause after complaining about a hostile work environment created by the chair of the firm's intellectual property practice.

U.S. District Judge John Padova ruled Dec. 30 that Taffie Jones had overcome the legal presumption that her employment with the firm was at-will by sufficiently pleading that the significant hardships she'd endured to take the job created an implied contract between the parties.
