Christie Eyes High Court Nominee For Lower NJ Judgeship

Law360, New York (January 3, 2014, 5:14 PM EST) -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie seems to be moving on from a state Supreme Court nomination that lawmakers have refused to take up for more than a year, instead planning a lower court judgeship for the nominated regulatory official.

Christie on Thursday gave notice to lawmakers of his intent to nominate state Board of Public Utilities President Robert Hanna and others to the state's Superior Court.
